Hey everyone,

The FLA is at a turning point. The current President, Vice-President, Treasurer, & Secretary are ALL moving away, and noone will be left to run this organization! If the FLA crumbles, it will leave in its wake this meetup group & mailing list (currently with 181 members) and a bank account with (approximately) 100 dollars in it. The FLA is also a registered Political Action Committee, allowing us to legally support issues or candidates at all levels.

This group has been around since the beginning of the Ron Paul campaign, and it would be a shame to lose this cohesive force which is keeping so many great pro-liberty activists connected. It is the hope of the current FLA leadership that, instead, fresh blood be found who will guide the FLA into a new age of prosperity and effective campaigning.

To that end, we're now calling for volunteers who are interested in helping out with this organization. Whether you want to take over one of the 4 officer positions mentioned above, or are just looking to donate a few minutes a week to the fight for liberty, get involved NOW so that we can make sure the FLA is alive and kicking after the transition.

In a few days, I'll send out an e-mail to everyone who responds to this one with some more info.

You should reply to this e-mail if:
* You want to take on an essential leadership role in the FLA and become an officer.
* You want to take on a supporting role in the FLA, helping to design, organize or execute pro-liberty campaigning, outreach, and other events & activities.
* You want to remain abreast of the current & future plans of the FLA leadership.
* You want to chip in time, effort, and/or money to help make this transition go as smoothly as possible.

It's been great freedom-fighting with all of you during my stay in Florida!
